Law & Neuroscience Bibliography

As part of its mission to serve as a resource for the law and neuroscience scholarly community, the MacArthur Foundation Law and Neuroscience Project maintains a bibliography, with abstracts where available, of scholarship that meaningfully engages with the intersection of law and neuroscience.

The bibliography is maintained by Law and Neuroscience Project Associate Director Glenn Butterton.

The current version (December 9, 2010) of the bibliography contains over 565 entries, including articles, book chapters, edited volumes, and publications from a variety of disciplines beyond law. As we improve the bibliography your input is valued, whether it’s to suggest citations we’ve missed, or to note web site features which may be useful for end users.

For additional citations of work currently in progress, see SSRN’s Law and Neuroscience eJournal. The Johannes Gutenberg-University of Mainz also maintains a neuroethics bibliography.
