Quick Bio
I'm broadly interested in how visual experience is modulated by the brain. I came to Vanderbilt after completing degrees in Neuroscience and Visual Art at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. During my time there, I studied visual perception under Dr. Jason Haberman, and explored topics in motion perception, facial perception, aesthetics, and identity. While in Memphis, my interest in perception also brought me to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where I researched hair cell regeneration in the inner ear, as well as stress factors involved in the development of retinoblastoma. When I'm not in the lab, you can find me exploring my new home here in Nashville with friends and family.
