The lab owns a wide range of hardware, mostly computers of various vintages. They’re listed here for lab reference, and so that people have a clue what is being referred to when they’re told that the file that they’re looking for lives on a certain box...
Live Hardware (Currently In Use)
Tesla (Mac Pro, 422b) : Ben’s processing box
Circe (SGI Octane, 422b) : AIR Motion Correction
Westheimer (G4 Tower, 422b): Decrepit OS9 tower
MiniHelmholtz (Mac Mini) : Testing Computer
Teba (Psychology Department überserver; we have a 9TB array on it)
Retired Hardware (Backed up to Graveyard on Teba/tonglab)
Munk (Dell Xeon Tower) : In 422b, functional but in retirement
Inouye (Dell Xeon Tower) : Functional, but unused for several years
Hodgkin (Dell Xeon Tower) : Functional, unused for several years
Sherrington (Dell Xeon Tower) - Note: unstable / unbootable WindowsXP install as of July 2008; external drives backed up to Teba
Hering (G4 Tower) : Semifunctional OS9 tower
Ames (G4 Powerbook) : Died July 2008 - can boot, not suitable for experimental use

Lab Printers
The lab has two laser printers that live in the closets in 422. If you need to configure your computer to print, they’re set up as HP IP printers, so just enter the listed static IPs.
Ferrier is a Black and White Duplexing Laser; 129.59.230.49
T_Young is a Color Duplexing Laser; 129.59.231.28
