My name is Rachana Modi, I am a sophomore at Vanderbilt where I am majoring in Biomedical Engineering. I am interested in various fields of research. My current project in the lab focuses on auditory disruptions in spatial working memory. We’re trying to see whether or not positive, negative, and neutral vocalized words interfere with performance on a spatial working memory task.

When I’m not in the lab, I enjoy expressing my cultural heritage by participating in Diwali, an Indian dance extravaganza at Vanderbilt. The show is on November 8^th, and I’d love for the entire Vanderbilt community to show up!
