Laura will receive her BA in Psychology and English in the Spring of 2012.
Biographical Sketch
Laura is a senior undergraduate who joined EARL in the Fall of 2011. She is currently working with Tom in his study of emotional modulation of attention and with Lindsay in examining moral disgust. During the previous year she participated in a directed study under Dr. Cole investigating the relationship between victimization and depression in middle school students in local Nashville schools. She also worked as a research assistant to Dr. Perlmutter at Rosalind Franklin University where she studied the relationship between both the presence of diabetes or orthostatic hypotension and cognitive decline and depression during the summer of 2010.
