Went to the freezer, for a macaque brain

Thought I would do a double label

Spent 9 months a stainin', Went to the scope,

When I looked in I hadn't a hope
 

Wastin away again in Casagrande Lab,

Looking for my lost layer of cells,

Some people claim that there's a post-doc to blame,

But I know, it could be my fault.
 

Went to the surgery, pulled out some mice,

Thought we'd inject some ENDO-N,

Did some reactions, sure got some action,

What it means we haven't a clue.

Viv went to her email, looked in the help files,

Thought she'd send out that she would be gone.

Then Dr. O'Leary, got kind of weary

of thousands of messages to him alone.
