Several arguments for personal view
Details explaining and supporting each argument
Statement of opposing view with arguments refuting it
Use of references that provide supporting evidence for arguments made vs. opinion only
Hints for better papers
Write the full title of the topic and give your position
Check for grammar and typing errors
Mention the opposing view and refute it
References:
*Reference your ideas and information in the text because the purpose of the paper is to give a view based on research, not on personal beliefs and opinions
*Make a list of references at the end
*Paraphrase ideas from sources rather than writing direct quotes, except for specific emphasis
*Remember: Ideas must be referenced as well as quotes!
NOTE: Paper #2 will be graded more strictly, based on these criteria.
